Home Sweet Pier

Our pier is 220 feet in length and the "old timers" tell us that it sits beside one of the best fishing holes in Galveston Bay. We have some fishing photos in the photo gallery that support this claim. And you are welcome to hone your fishing skills during your visit. Don't forget to take photos of what you catch so your friends back home will believe your fish stories.

Night fishing can be very productive. There are two 1500 watt lights at the end of the pier and they are pointed toward the water to attract fish. Some of the most successful fishing has been accomplished between 10:00 pm and 2:00 am.

The end of the pier is called the "T-head" and the it has two levels. The upper level is generally used for viewing, relaxation, and photography. It is a great place to watch the shrimp boats, pleasure boats, and sailboats coming and going.
